A: Locate a rental property by either using the quick search on the home page, rental search, or see all of our listings. Searches can be for specific property features including; location, number of bedrooms, price, and amenities. A: No. It is not required to be a member to use our site, nor is membership required to rent a property. Membership is for rental agents and homeowners. Direct Home Rentals does not charge customers for renting; this is done by the rental agent or homeowner. A: Direct Home Rentals has no responsibility for renting properties. All properties are privately owned. Direct Home Rentals simply acts as an internet marketing tool for rental agents and homeowners. A: Direct Home Rentals provides an online service for renters and agents to get together and do business. Our service is similar to a newspaper’s classified ad. We simply provide a means for agents/owners to market their property online. It is recommended to request references, and a list of previous renters. Also try to visit the property prior to renting. Should you have any problems renting from an agent/owner on our site, please let us know. We try our best to ensure all of our agent/owners are reputable and legitimate. A: Individual agent/owners have different policies for reserving rentals. Please inquire about deposits, payment details, and any rental restrictions. Good communication is essential to making proper arrangements. To ensure all details are communicated effectively, a clearly written rental agreement is suggested.
